The Lean Systems Academic Program is dedicated to building a qualified workforce by preparing today’s students to become future graduates already versed in lean systems basics (and beyond). Employers are increasingly asking for lean skills when hiring for jobs spanning the full spectrum of careers in engineering, health care, business and more. Students from any discipline accepted by the director of the program, can simply take lean courses as electives, earn a non-academic certificate, earn a graduate certificate (academic), or add lean focus to their Manufacturing Systems Engineering Degree.
