Crit Fisher is a Toyota Practitioner with the University of Kentucky Lean Systems Group. His primary focus for UK has been at the client’s location to Train the Trainer in the proper use of the 8 Step Problem Solving Process on their “real” problems. Crit has over 20 plus years of Toyota Production System (Lean) experience. He retired from Toyota Motor Manufacturing (TMMK) in Georgetown, KY in 2005 as an Assistant Manager in the Quality Engineering Department. At TMMK he utilized the Problem Solving Process to find root cause and countermeasure in areas such as Supplier Improvement initiatives, Process Flow Analysis to address quality and delivery concerns related to Man, Material, Method or Machine, and daily production issues. Prior to Toyota Crit’s work history includes: Rockwell International, Engineer, Service Parts Division; Clark Equipment, Applications Engineer, Electric Fork Truck Division and General Electric Corporation, Products Designer, Appliance Division.
